The most confusing part of purchasing wedding photography is
deciding which package is best for your needs. Even worse
is purchasing package features that you neither want or need.
Lets look at the anatomy of an average wedding assignment from
the buyer's point of view and then look at what we do at RFP to
turn your desire of capturing those precious moments of
touching and tender memories into photography that you and your
family will cherish for generations.
The Consultation
The wedding consultation is your first and most important
step. The consultation is where you actually meet your
photographer face to face, determine if you can work
together, look at prior work, explain to your photographer
what is most important to you about your wedding,
discuss the type of wedding you are planning, any special
features or traditions of your ceremony including:
Wedding
- Ushers
- Escorted parents
- Escorted bride
- Wedding party placement
- Ring bearer / flower girl
- Lighting of a Unity Candle
- Special invocations, communion, prayer, unique
rituals, or family traditions
- Vocalists or instrumentals
- Bride and Groom exit
- Determine the style of photography
- Set up your group shots
- When to photograph groups and candid bride and groom
shots, (before or after the ceremony)
Reception
- Location
- DJ/emcee announcement
- Bride and Groom entrance
- Parents and/or wedding party entrance
- Toast
- Meal / Hors D'evours
- Cake Cutting
- Dances - first dance, bride/father, groom/mother,
wedding party, money dance
- Religious or secular traditions
- Bouquet / garter toss
- Bride and groom exit
- Limo
Bring all the pertinent info to the consultation.
Have the address and phone number of the ceremony and
reception site/s including the name of the person in charge
on location. It is helpful to have the names of the
wedding party, and the people who will be included in the
group shots. Also, the date and time of the rehearsal and
have in mind the number of invitations to be sent.
Feel free to bring along magazine clippings of the
photographic style you like or particular pose styles you
would like to see in your photography.
With info in hand look at your choices on how to cover
your wedding. You will need to decide how you want to
proof your images. Proofs are typically used to choose
the images you want printed, enlarged, touched up, and
otherwise prepped for presentation.
RFP offers three ways to proof your wedding
photography!
Proofing
Proof Option One - Is the most cost effective, you
are given your own private gallery on farrahphotos.com. Your
gallery is password protected and you may give the password
to anyone you wish. Your privacy is important and no one may
call RFP to get the password. We only issue the
password to you, our client.
Your gallery has many popular features such as grouping
of favorites, viewing your proofs in color, black and white,
or sepia, and a safe and secure shopping cart for ordering
all the popular sized prints or portrait enlargements.
For your convenience all major credit cards
are accepted. Your credit card numbers are never emailed. We
are notified of your order and then must log into the secure
server to retrieve your information. Credit card processing
is done at our location.

Proof Option Two - Also cost effective are our
Spiral Bound Proof Magazines. Your proofs are
delivered in magazine form, printed 6 proofs per page. Each
proof shows the image number for ordering.

The magazine has a personalized graphic front cover and
can even be ordered with a leather slip cover. A private
wedding gallery is included with Option 2
Proof Option Three - Individual proof prints of
the entire wedding collection presented in a Leather
Craftsman Proof Album. Included with each page of
proofs is the corresponding order sheet. Simply copy the
proof number imprinted on the back of each proof onto the
order sheet along with the size and quantity of you wish to
purchase. Return the order sheet to Ric Farrah Photographs
and your images receive the final round of processing and
then sent to the lab for printing. A private wedding
gallery is included with Option 3
