On The Shoot

Professionals in all industries are prepared to perform their job. Modeling is no different than other industries.

Professionals show up to the shoot ready to work. Be ready to listen and understand the vision of the client. Remember, it is your job to provide the look and emotion of the piece. You must turn the client's mental image into reality.

Leave your spouse or boyfriend at home unless they are in the industry booked on the shoot. (seldom if ever happens)

Typically you won't hang out at their job so don't bring them to yours. A family member or significant other can be distracting to everyone on the job and runs the risk of shifting your focus. If you feel uncomfortable with the shoot, discus it beforehand with the agency. You can ask your agency to send someone with you or you can bring a girl friend. Obviously, if you are a minor child, a parent, legal guardian or an authorized agency representative is required on my shoots.

Show up with your model bag stocked with items you may need during the shoot.
